2. GoMeddo or Salesforce Scheduler \ Field Service Lightning?

This is one of the first questions we get: ‘why GoMeddo and not Salesforce Scheduler or Field Service Lightning?’ Simple really: every use case will require specific tools and technology, where one may be a better fit than the other.

Let’s try to make it as simple as possible with a few examples below: sales, events & healthcare, as well as a general overview of GoMeddo in different other areas.

Finally, you can also have a look at this page for a more detailed comparison.

Let's explore the various options for obtaining a GoMeddo demo. No worries, we support multiple ways for you to do that!

Currently, we have two options for giving a GoMeddo demo:

Option

Pro’s +

Con’s -

1. Preconfigured demo org:
Get a preconfigured standalone demo org.

  • Get up and running extremely quickly, you can demo GoMeddo within 30 minutes.

  • No setup required

This is a new and standalone Salesforce org, meaning no direct integration with other demo parts you may already have somewhere else.

2. Demo from your own org:
Demo GoMeddo in your own SDO, Sandbox or Developer org. We provide demo data for common use cases.

Get it now!

  • Integrated with your own org, so you can easily demonstrate a complete business process from one org.

  • Demo kit app let’s you quickly deploy demo data.

There aren’t any really 😄 You’ll just need to bring along your own org.

This is the way

3.2 More information

Option 1: Preconfigured demo org

The quick solution! Details can be found here!

This is a great option if you're okay with using a standalone org for a quick demo. The org already has GoMeddo preinstalled and comes preconfigured with a demo setup. You can easily modify the Resource names to suit your business case and showcase additional Salesforce functionality.

The following video guides you through setting up the demo, which is as simple as filling out a form and waiting for the Salesforce confirmation email.

Option 2: Demo from your own org

The integrated solution! Details can be found here!

The advantage of this option is that you can demo GoMeddo directly in your own demo org. Since GoMeddo is a native Salesforce app, you can showcase the app's functionality with any data in your org. This makes it easy to build an end-to-end story around the use case or customer you are pitching.

3.3 Extensions

Have a look at our extensions to support your story. Currently explains how to setup the Widget for a demo, more to follow soon!

4. Preconfigured trial

Get a fully configured GoMeddo trial that you can use to quickly demonstrate the product

We’ve created a fully configured GoMeddo demo that you can use to quickly demonstrate the product. This will be a Salesforce 30 day trial org with a preconfigured GoMeddo 30 day trial on it. As it is a standalone environment, it won’t be integrated with any existing demo process that you might already have in your own demo org. If you are looking for that option, please see Demo from your own org.

This org environment will be available to you for 30 days. After that, the environment is removed by Salesforce. You can easily log a case with Salesforce Support to extend the org, and you can contact us to then extend the GoMeddo trial. Or feel free to create a new environment whenever you want.

4.1 Get demo

Fill in the form on this webpage, you will receive a 'Welcome to Salesforce' within 10-15 minutes. This will be a brand new org, that comes with GoMeddo preinstalled and preconfigured.
