CM can be used as one of the Busines Service Providers (BSP) for Whatsapp within Social25.

Onboarding

During your account creation with CM, you have specified which phone number(s) you want to use. You can find more information on the CM onboarding here: https://www.cm.com/cdn/web/file/help/CMcom-Onboarding-Guide-WhatsAppBusiness-June-2020.pdf

Navigate to the following page https://login.cm.com/ and login with your CM account. Click on “My Channels” and navigate to the WhatsApp Business account you want to connect to Social25.

Send the Social25 team (support@gen25.com) the following data:

  • Name of the account (shown at the top)

  • Phone number of the account (shown next to the WhatsApp icon)

  • Product token / API key (All the way at the bottom)

To send this data secure to us you can use https://cryptex.gen25.com.

Configuring Webhooks

Once you’ve shared the credentials with the Social25 team you will receive a webhook that needs to be configured.

  1. Navigate to the following page https://login.cm.com/ and login with your CM account.

  2. Click on “My Channels” and navigate to the WhatsApp Business account you want to connect to Social25.

  3. Scroll down to “Incoming Messages” and click on “Add destination”.

  4. Select “Webhook”

  5. Select content type “JSON”

  6. Enter the messages webhook URL that was provided by the Social25 team.

  7. Click on “Save”

Now you will need to configure status report updates.

  1. Click on “Gateway” you will find this in the menu on the left hand side of the screen.

  2. Enable “I want to receive message status reports”

  3. Select the “POST JSON” method.

  4. Fill in the HTTP Endpoint with the status update webhook URL that was provided by the Social25 team.

You’re now ready to start sending messages.
